On Saturday we went to the Miracle of Lights display at Bull Run Park in Centreville: all the wonder of Christmas lights without having to leave your car. Nice. However, the drive into the park was kind of crowded, which made for a long, dark wait. Afterwards we had a late dinner at one of our usual places, Silver Diner. Thom has some photos up, of the holiday lights and the diner as well. Speaking of which, there’s an article in Salon today about Flickr, the great photo-sharing service that both Thom and I use. If you have a Flickr account that I don’t know about, let me know; I love keeping up with people’s photos.

Hi Jeff,
One year you really should try to come to Baltimore to see the lights in Hamden, on 34th street at Chestnut. It’s lights gone wild. There’s even one gay-owned and themed house. The couple bought on the street just so they could be part of the tradition.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
